I have been learning French with Anne-Sophie for over 4 years now.
I found her to have a love for language and a comprehensive knowledge of grammar. I also found her to be a speaker of excellent English with a good sense of humour. I like her relaxed friendly manner and the way she has allowed me to progress at my own pace without pressure, patiently correcting my pronunciation and grammatical errors and encouraging me, although she is not a walk-over – one must study between sessions.
She encourages the use of high standard text books and uses additional learning methods to enhance listening skills.
Anne-Sophie scans the internet and has provided me with some useful sites for additional learning. I like that she takes her position seriously and teaches, what I would call, ‘proper’ French grammar and sentence construction before allowing the use of the ‘familiar’. Thanks to Anne-Sophie I was recently told in France that I speak very good French – this is not yet true, but the French love to see you try.

I began lessons with Anne-Sophie after many years in a French class of 8 or more students. Initially I found the experience daunting but Anne-Sophie put me at ease very quickly.
